Euroculture – Part 1 – Bringing the World to Britain
Euroculture was established in 1966 with the aim of fostering a healthy relationship and understanding between the peoples of Europe and, in particular, their younger generations. With a view to a cooperative future with our European neighbours and using youth travel as a tool to open hearts and minds we began welcoming foreign schoolchildren to our shores, carefully choosing caring host families and providing English Language tuition with supporting educational and cultural activities.
The majority of our visitors came to the UK via government-sponsored institutions and other non-profit organisations. Over the passing decades, we have made tens of thousands of friends from a number of countries extending even beyond European borders.
Part 2 – Turning the Tables – School Trips to Europe
Since 2004, Euroculture has been using its network of connections and vast experience to create tailored tour itineraries for UK schools and youth groups visiting Europe.
With our enthusiasm for education still at the heart of our business, school trips to our nearest neighbour are now the main focus of our attention. We take pride in providing a quality and personal service and are delighted that we continue to expand our activities whilst still working with the same schools who took those first steps with us in the opposite direction ten years ago.
We now work with schools the length and breadth of the country, from Cornwall to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. We have organised trips for Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Colleges, Scout groups and even the Ministry of Defence.
